Bought the D600 with full warning from you and others that it was a gamble. Paid $1,400 on an Amazon flash sale. Sent it in in to LA service center for the sensor debris issue after going thru the Nikon service web site. This was prior to the recall. They had the camera 5 business days from receipt to shipment. The camera came back the recall completed.
Yes, I am happy with the service. Yes, I am happy I have 99.5% of a D610 for $1,400. No, I am not happy that Nikon did not address this problem immediately. However, it will not influence any future purchase as despite their p.r. failures, I do not believe Nikon is any more evil than any other camera (or really, any) company. (fr)
