Which Nikon Cameras Have Banks/U1?

Nikon has made a bit of a distinction in how users can configure cameras. The so-called "pro" designs used multiple Banks for configuration, the so-called "consumer" cameras use U1/U2 mode dial positions to do so.

Cameras with Banks (in menus):

  • D3, D3s, D3x
  • D4, D4s
  • D5
  • D6
  • D300
  • D500
  • D800, D810, D850

Cameras with U1/U2 (on mode dial):

  • D600, D610
  • D750, D780
  • D7200, D7500

Cameras with neither:

  • D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D3400, D3500
  • D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300, D5400, D5600
