Thom's Mini Review: This is an older lens, but still available. Optically, it's nearly as good as the Nikkor 500mm f/4, but much less expensive. You do give up image stabilization, a third of a stop of aperture, and a bit of near focus capability, but not much else. Basically the "poor man's" 500mm choice. Due for an OS and dock update.
