Thom's Mini Review: Good news: centers are sharp wide open, razor sharp two stops down. Corners are very good but never as good as the center, while chromatic aberration and distortion are low. Bad news: more vignetting than I expected. Disappears within a couple of stops, but very visible wide open. Overall: The 25mm doesn't really beat the Nikkor 24mm f/1.4G, as it isn't 25mm to start with and the 24mm f/1.4G is quite good. On the other hand, the build quality is exceptional. Old school metal with long focus throws and excellent markings. Recommended (with reservations)
