My 2 year old D800 is well out of warrantee so I did not even bother to include my sales receipt when I returned it to Nikon (NPS) for repair. It was repaired and returned quickly with a new aperture lever and all the typical things checked adjusted and cleaned. There was no explanation why there was no charge, but I'm certainly not complaining. If this was a known issue and part of a recall, I had not heard anything about it, but I’m grateful for the free repair and cleanup. (mp)
