I too have an early version of the D810 that had too be returned to Nikon Canada to repair the long exposure issue. From my first call to Nikon, never put on hold, my cameras was returned to Nikon in Vancouver and back to me via courier within 48 hours. I've had issues with Nikon in the past but in this case I have to give credit where credit is due. Thanks Nikon Canada, excellent customer service. (br)
